Robert De Niro Dives into 81 with Epic Yacht Leap! You Won’t Believe What Happened Next
Robert De Niro

The legendary actor turned 81 on August 17th and celebrated in style by taking a daring leap off a yacht. That's right, the Oscar winner made diving off the deck look like a walk in the park. Can you believe it?

But the excitement didn’t stop there. De Niro’s daughter, Drina De Niro, couldn’t resist sharing the thrilling moment on Instagram. Her post was a heartfelt shoutout to her dad: "Happy 81st birthday to my dad and number one. RIT or die, I love you with all my heart. Bobby D forever!" It’s clear that this actor, known for his roles in classics like The Godfather, is still living life to the fullest.

In a recent interview, Robert got emotional reflecting on fatherhood. He opened up about his youngest daughter, Gia, saying, "It feels great; everything that I'm consumed with or worried about just goes away when I look at her. It’s wondrous." Despite his extensive parenting experience—he's a dad to seven children in total—Robert admitted that balancing fatherhood with his career is no easy feat. As he put it in a January 25th interview, "It is what it is."

And let’s not forget, the actor’s support system plays a crucial role. Robert confessed in an October 2023 chat with The Guardian that while he’s there for his girlfriend Tiffany Chen and their daughter, she does the heavy lifting, and having extra help is essential. Robert’s brood includes his 56-year-old daughter Dina and 47-year-old son Raphael from his marriage to Diane Abbott, 28-year-old twin sons Aaron and Julian with ex-girlfriend Tuki Smith, as well as 26-year-old son Elliot and 12-year-old daughter Helen with ex-wife Grace Hightower.

Despite the whirlwind of fatherhood across generations, Robert acknowledges that parenting dynamics change over time. He noted, "With a baby, it’s different from my 11-year-old or my adult children. My approach varies with each stage of their lives."
