  Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez has just announced that she's canceling her summer tour to spend more time with her loved ones! This shocking news has left fans both heartbroken and supportive. Let's dive into the details and don't forget to share your thoughts at the end!

On Friday, May 31, Live Nation announced that the singer's This Is Me... Live is canceled because she is "taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends."

Lopez released a statement to her fans on her On the J,Lo website and explained why it was a tough decision to make.

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," Lopez, 54, wrote.

She continued, "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time."

The tour was originally set to run from June to August, in support of her latest studio album This Is Me...Now, which dropped in February.

Fans who have already purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically be refunded. For those who purchased through third-party resale sites, fans will need to reach out to the point of purchase for more details.

In addition to spending time with her close circle, Lopez is currently celebrating the release of her Netflix film Atlas, which hit the streaming service on May 24 and has already reached No. 1 in 55 countries.

This announcement comes on the heels of reported marital issues for Lopez and husband Ben Affleck. Though they were pictured together Thursday, the couple have been living separately in Los Angeles while experiencing a strain in the marriage, sources have told PEOPLE. She's been busy preparing for the now-canceled tour and promoting Atlas, while Affleck has been filming for The Accountant 2. The two famously rekindled their relationship from the early 2000s in 2021 and married in 2022.

Earlier this month, Lopez posed in front of Netflix’s billboard in Los Angeles extolling people to not mess with her.

Together, Netflix and Lopez released an Instagram clip that began with her riding inside a car.

“So a bunch of people were messaging me yesterday telling me about this billboard that Netflix put up for Atlas,” Lopez said in the reel. “So I want to go see it for myself.”

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Lopez spoke about the similarities and differences between herself and the movie’s character.

"We are so different because she's like ... doesn't wear any of her emotions,” she said. “She's so closed off and I am too much emotion sometimes."

"But at the same time we are both very strong and sure of what they feel," continued Lopez. "At times. She was very sure. She was like, 'This is what's happening, please listen to me. Please tell me.' And felt very misunderstood at times. I can also relate to that a bit."

Hello, everyone, this is my first blog post

Today, we've got some exciting news about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's upcoming visit to New York City. The royal couple is set to make their return to the Big Apple for the Archewell Foundation's Parents' Summit, focusing on the impact of social media on the mental health of young people. This marks their first visit to the city since a harrowing encounter with paparazzi during a previous trip.

Back in May, Meghan and Harry found themselves in the middle of a "relentless pursuit" by paparazzi after attending the Ms Foundation's Women of Vision Awards. They even had to issue a statement about a car chase that lasted for over two hours. Now, as they prepare for their return to New York, they're taking steps to ensure their safety and minimize potential risks.

Security expert Mayah suggests that Harry and Meghan will have a comprehensive security plan in place. This plan involves assessing potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them. It might include securing safe transportation and coordination with the New York Police Department. Ensuring experienced drivers who can handle high-profile individuals and carefully managing media access are also key aspects.

Effectively managing the media is crucial to avoid invasive and potentially dangerous actions by paparazzi. Meghan and Harry's PR team is likely to have clear guidelines in place for media access, ensuring that only authorized and vetted media professionals are granted access to them.

It's inspiring to see Meghan and Harry return to New York despite their previous challenging experience. This demonstrates their commitment to supporting causes close to their hearts. Additionally, having each other's support at the event is undoubtedly reassuring for them.

The Archewell Foundation event they'll be attending aims to provide a platform for parents to navigate mental health in the digital world. It's all about making online spaces safer for parents and children while working towards creating a more positive online environment. This event is part of Project Healthy Minds' second annual World Mental Health Day Festival, a long-time partner of Meghan and Harry's Archewell Foundation.

So, stay tuned for updates on their visit and the important discussions they'll be part of in New York City.

 Thanks for your time
